Terry is the first Wisconsin artist to win the Waterfowl, Pheasant and Turkey Stamp Designs in the same year (2005). He is a three time winner of the Wisconsin Waterfowl Stamp Design and has won the Pheasant Stamp Twice.

Terry has placed second twice in the Federal Duck Stamp Design--1999 with Black Scoter and 2002 with Wood Duck.

Terry, a nationally known wildlife artist, has received more than thirty awards attesting to the quality of his work.
